The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) just announced a strategic three-year deal with Amazon Ads which is aimed at achieving a global reach through the use of their advertising and entertainment platforms. A part of this collaboration will include the introduction of branded activations on platforms such as Twitch, Wondery, Alexa and Amazon Prime.

The target markets include the United States, Brazil, Europe, North Africa, Turkey, India, Canada, the Middle East, and Mexico. Fans in these countries will get access to experience the following: Live broadcasts via Twitch, voice integrations via Alexa, and immersive, music-driven storytelling through Wondery. This will be the second consecutive year that the Esports World Cup Foundation and Amazon are partnering, as this follows their last launch on Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa

This collaboration is going to help with changing the esports experience globally reaching out to fans across multiple touchpoints and creating exceptional value for brands. This is also in its way contributing to the way esports material is being consumed — always accessible and deeply social — as it is bringing esports into everyday lives. It also supports the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s position as a world leading esports hub, and their ambition with Vision 2030 in becoming a leader in digital entertainment and technology.

There is also a five-part documentary underway with Amazon Prime titled Level Up, which will show a behind-the-scenes look into the Esports World Cup 2024. The next edition of the tournament will be returning to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 7th to the 24th, with a prize pool of over $70M and featuring over 20 titles
